Safe use of CAT4 & Genny

Safe use of RD8000 & Genny

These courses are designed for operatives or people that will be regularly using the identified equipment. The workshop will introduce some key principles to Electromagnetic Location techniques before practical demonstrations of safe use of the equipment, how to maximize the effectiveness of the tools as well as some of the common pitfalls that can place people at risk.

This is followed by a practical assessment where the delegates will have the opportunity to demonstrate their competency to safely identify and avoid utilities.

Blended approach:

We are delighted to offer a new more flexible option for training. We can now offer companies the option to develop their workforce using a blended approach. Delegates are given access to our Learning Platform which will guide them through all the theoretical elements and practical demonstrations we would normally cover within the workshop. We can then send an assessor to your workplace to conduct a series of practical assessments.

We hope this may help some companies develop their workforce when shift patterns and time restrictions can make this more prohibitive. Using this approach, it may be possible to get up to 25 people assessed within one day.

Utility Service Coordinator:

This course is designed for supervisors and managers responsible to coordinating work activities around utilities and services. The course is centred around a series of case studies where key principles of management can be explored. There is also opportunity to refresh safe use of avoidance tools such as a CAT4 and Genny to consolidate existing knowledge.
